CoSS PhD Scholarship – Sexualities and Genders Beyond Heterosexuality in India and Bangladesh: Contestations Between Decoloniality and Digital Cultures (University of Glasgow)

This project will analyse sexualities and genders beyond heterosexuality in India and Bangladesh and will be an original study on these themes globally through focusing on both decoloniality and digital cultures. 

The research question is: ‘How is collective action supporting sexualities and genders beyond heterosexuality in connected contexts of India and Bangladesh, in relation to both decoloniality and digital cultures?’

Call for Applications – Visiting Scholar in Sexuality Studies for 2021-2022 (York University)

The Sexuality Studies Program in the School of Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies is pleased to announce a Visiting Scholar position in partnership with the Centre for Feminist Research (CFR) at York University for the 2021-22 academic year. 

We invite applicants who have/will have acquired a doctorate in sexuality studies and/or transgender studies or a related field by September 2021 to submit an application. 

Junior and senior scholars are welcome to apply.  The Visiting Scholar position is intended to provide an institutional base for junior scholars doing funded postdoctoral research or senior scholars on paid sabbatical or research leave, since there is no salary associated with the position.
